the new canvas uses ~3x the real estate of the old one, transitions are now separated from tasks, and converting old workflows auto-expands the spacing so you constantly zoom in (to read) and out (to see the whole flow). He suggested a user-specific setting, e.g. a slider, to control default spacing/density, especially on conversion, plus a tighter/compact mode.
