In the new canvas, transitions are visually separated from their source task, which spreads workflows out and makes long boards with many parallel checks (e.g. multi-board production switches) harder to scan at a glance, since transitions don't consistently align to the same row across tasks. Request: allow an optional "docked" view that keeps a task and its transition visually grouped, similar to the legacy canvas, without losing the clarity benefits of the current separated model.

I do prefer the legacy UI and find the new canvases are very large due to this fact. In legacy you could tighten up the workflow layouts so you could see a lot more on screen while being able to read the tasks. I would love to see some options like this to make the workflows more compact so we can see bigger picture easier
