Just to confirm, I’m not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but with many UniFi integrations, there’s currently a limitation where billing cannot be separated if a client has multiple sites under distinct agreements. For my needs, it’s important to have this capability, as clients with multiple locations often require unique tax codes applied per city.

I hope you all are doing well! Quick question, what types of automations would you be interested in building if we had a Ubiquiti integration?

We’d be interested in several automations if a Ubiquiti integration were available:
Automated Ticketing for Device Outages:
When a Ubiquiti device goes offline or encounters issues, automatically open a ticket in ConnectWise, matching the ticket to the correct client site and including relevant device details.
Auto-Resolution and Status Updates:
Once the device is back online or the issue is resolved, have the ticket automatically closed or its status updated in ConnectWise.
Critical Error and Environmental Alarm Notifications:
Open tickets for critical errors or environmental alarms (such as temperature or power alerts) from Ubiquiti devices, ensuring we’re alerted to urgent issues as soon as they arise.
These types of automations would greatly streamline our operations and ensure we’re responding proactively to any network issues for our clients.
Thanks again for asking, and looking forward to seeing what’s possible!

Jania Henderson Equipment Status with Site Mapping to Customers in PSA, to create tickets from Network Status, get Stats from VPN and other, Internet Usage Peak, Update Available in site, stuff like this I think would be great !

Oh one more item
Onboard and offboarding, unify identity for VPN, Wifi and ID Card Access too. The big one would bee offboarding as onboarding can already be synced with Entra

For the site manager:
Outage alerts,
Documenting site devices,
Documenting ISP information/metrics,
I have a separate automation to move devices in our RMM based on their external IP. If i have a site that doesn't buy a static being able to pull "current" external would allow these sites to use that automation.
If you can also do the control plane api:
Scheduled power cycle of network devices that have been "up too long",
Device firmware audits,
Better device documentation,
Could probably get pretty silly and build a network map as well.

Jania Henderson For us it would start with documentation. A daily or two-daily update of the network settings, port forwards, etc. uploaded into ITglue - sounds pretty good to me.
But also, as others have said, automated ticketing for device outages. automated ticketing for device updates (if we choose to have auto-updates off).
These are all small QOL improvements that would help our workflows significantly
