Redirect Form Submission to Execute Immediately Instead of Upon Workflow Completion

Currently, the on form submit redirect only executes on workflow completion.
We should have 2 separate options, 1 for on submit which should actually be on submit without any delay, and 1 on workflow completion.

Is there any update on this? This is still a problem a year later.
We gate our user onboarding behind department head approval. Response can take up to 48 hours, meaning the workflow will not complete until said approval.
We need to be able to redirect non-technical users to a completion success page given a successful submit, then route them back to the PSA customer portal home page where the form request initiated. We are trying to work around this via a custom app in Rewst, but so far nothing is working.

Totally agree! Sometimes a workflow takes a few minutes, if there are no follow-up actions, what's the use of the redirect?

I agree that this is needed, but please note that the existing actions should be moved to "on workflow completion" in order to keep this from becoming a breaking change for our organization.
