SaaS data
Brian Simpson
We utilize Datto SaaS as a backup for Microsoft 365. One of the workflows I would like to build out is an audit of licensing so that we can true that up with what we have set to bill out of Pax8. It's also helpful for some of our clients that don't enable backups for all users to be able to manually protect those that they select at the time of new hire.

It's amazing that there's no Datto BCDR/Continuity integration at the moment.

as an MSP I would like to Query info and statuses of backups and devices.

This would be a great addition to the integrations and would allow us to do things such as:
- Document what servers and SaaS products are being backed up
- Monitor/alert on some of this data
Steven Hurley
I would include the Assured recovery tasks if possible as well
Frank Merino
This should include the Datto Cloud Continuity for PC backups.

Hey Brian - just a heads up that the last time I looked at this API (albeit a few months ago now) - it didn't have a TON of features. I think it showed last status and that was about it.
Will see if that has changed at all though for this

Adam Willford: Ah, that's a bummer. Limited APIs are a drag
Phill Hodgkinson
Adam Willford not sure what API you were looking at but we've been pulling number of licensed users per client from Datto SaaS Protect (their 365/Google Backup platform, formerly Backupify) for a couple years, using API and Powershell. Maybe you can take another look?

I definitely second this request.
Datto tickets do not automatically close even if the backups have resumed. So if we are able to automate verifying successful backups and closing old backup tickets would save us a bunch of time.

Iain McMullenHave you looked at the excellent Backup Radar? This is a game changer when it comes to Datto backup alerting, and it's incredibly easy to implement.
